Gin · lime · sugar · shaken with mint

You’ll need

  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz (59 ml) gin
  • 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice
  • ¾ oz (22 ml) simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Mint sprig, to garnish

Served in a Riedel sour coupe.

How to make it

  1. Grab a cocktail shaker and a Riedel sour coupe.
  2. Drop 8 mint leaves into the cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice (about 5 cubes).
  4. Pour 2 oz of gin into the cocktail shaker.
  5. Pour 1 oz of lime juice into the cocktail shaker.
  6. Pour ¾ oz of simple syrup into the cocktail shaker.
  7. Seal and shake hard for about 12 seconds.
  8. Strain into the Riedel sour coupe.
  9. Garnish with a mint sprig.
