Two rums · lime · curaçao · orgeat

You’ll need

  • 1 oz (30 ml) amber jamaican rum
  • 1 oz (30 ml) martinique rhum
  • 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice
  • ½ oz (15 ml) orange curaçao
  • ½ oz (15 ml) orgeat syrup
  • ¼ oz (7 ml) simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Crushed ice
  • Spent lime shell, to garnish
  • Mint sprig, to garnish

Served in a SHOSHIN hand-cut rocks glass.

How to make it

  1. Grab a cocktail shaker and a SHOSHIN hand-cut rocks glass.
  2. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice (about 5 cubes).
  3. Pour 1 oz of amber jamaican rum into the cocktail shaker.
  4. Pour 1 oz of martinique rhum into the cocktail shaker.
  5. Pour 1 oz of lime juice into the cocktail shaker.
  6. Pour ½ oz of orange curaçao into the cocktail shaker.
  7. Pour ½ oz of orgeat syrup into the cocktail shaker.
  8. Pour ¼ oz of simple syrup into the cocktail shaker.
  9. Seal and shake hard for about 12 seconds.
  10. Crack ice in a Lewis bag with a mallet, then pack the glass with the crushed ice, mounded over the top.
  11. Strain into the SHOSHIN hand-cut rocks glass.
  12. Garnish with a spent lime shell.
  13. Garnish with a mint sprig.
