Frozen Margarita
Tequila · lime · Cointreau · blended with ice
You’ll need
- Coarse salt, for the rim
- 2 oz (59 ml) blanco tequila
- 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice
- ¾ oz (22 ml) cointreau
- ¼ oz (7 ml) simple syrup
- Ice
- Lime wheel, to garnish
Served in a margarita glass.
How to make it
- Grab a blender and a margarita glass.
- Salt the rim of the margarita glass.
- Pour 2 oz of blanco tequila into the blender.
- Pour 1 oz of lime juice into the blender.
- Pour ¾ oz of cointreau into the blender.
- Pour ¼ oz of simple syrup into the blender.
- Add the blender with ice (about 8 cubes).
- Blend until smooth and slushy, with no ice chunks left.
- Pour into the margarita glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
