Espresso Martini

Vodka · fresh espresso · coffee liqueur · shaken

You’ll need

  • 1½ oz (44 ml) vodka
  • 1 oz (30 ml) espresso
  • ½ oz (15 ml) coffee liqueur
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) simple syrup
  • Ice
  • 3 coffee beans, to garnish

Served in a Riedel sour coupe.

How to make it

  1. Grab a cocktail shaker and a Riedel sour coupe.
  2. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice (about 5 cubes).
  3. Pour 1½ oz of vodka into the cocktail shaker.
  4. Pour 1 oz of espresso into the cocktail shaker.
  5. Pour ½ oz of coffee liqueur into the cocktail shaker.
  6. Pour 1 tsp of simple syrup into the cocktail shaker.
  7. Seal and shake hard for about 15 seconds to build the foam.
  8. Strain into the Riedel sour coupe.
  9. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
